Vastra Vinyasa began with a simple frustration — ethnic wear that either felt like costume or lost the craft entirely. We build the third option: handwoven Indian fabric, cut into clothes you actually reach for.

The Four Rules
01
Chanderi, mul cotton and silk are woven in limited lengths by weaving families we have worked with for years. No mill runs, no surplus.
02
Every neckline, scallop and border is embroidered by hand. Small irregularities are the signature, not the flaw.
03
Silhouettes are drafted for movement — straight kurtas, fluid trousers, dupattas that drape rather than sit.
04
Pieces are produced in batches of a few dozen. When a weave is finished, it is finished.

Sustainability
Small runs mean almost no deadstock. Natural fibres mean the garment ages instead of degrading. Offcuts return to the atelier as dupatta borders and pouches.
